So I was going over the trailer for Squadron 42 and realized that the hornet on display at the start of the trailer is the F7A MK2 and since I know the MK2 didn't release until a year after the Battle of Vega II (Oct 2945) I was very confused to see it flying around a year before it was even released (2946, see the Galactapedia Article on it: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/RXlXgwDlDk-F7A-Hornet). I am sure it is the Mk2 based on comparison images linked in the thread. Hornet in the trailer MKII Hornet MKI Hornet I assume it is just a mistake for the date which may have changed internally and wasn't caught while other changes have been made to Squadron 42's story over the years. Just moving the creation of the MK2 back a year or two wouldn't break any other lore AFAIK though I know there could be other explanations like early release for specific units, which even in that case should be noted somewhere to prevent confusion.
