It's been a long time since we've got our hands on S4 "Revenant" ballistic gatling, which we can use on many ships, and - curiously - the S6 "Draugar" ballistic gatling, which we can't use on any ships at this time. However, there is no S5 gatling - but we have many ships with S5 mounts that could benefit from it. Given that CIG prefers to simply upscale the model of a ship weapon, the KLWE CF-series (Bulldog, Panther, Rhino, Galdereen) laser repeaters being the most obvious example, I do not believe that making a S5 gatling would take too much time and effort to be attempted. At very least, it would be a fun extra choice and provide some useful balance testing data. This begs the following questions: 1. Why do we already have a currently-useless S6 gatling, but no would-be useful S5 gatling? 2. When can we expect to finally receive a long overdue S5 ballistic gatling?
