I know everyone has had the problem when you're leaving atmo set cruise control or de-couple (so that you can entire mobi and keep ship momentum) set a single or multi jump only to see that it is obstructed by a planet , moon or even an astroid you cant even see. Ship sat nav plots a straight line regardless of what is in the way. And you can either jump or you cant and you have to manually plot a route off to the side and jump around the problem, and the set the jump you actually want to do. Could the jumps not bend or curve around the edge of a planet or whatever is in the way and then resume the direct most efficient path? Food for thought.
