Just need a confirmation that the space in SC is filled with "magic gas" (Has to be non-newtonian, something alike 3He-beta superfluid). Basis: 1. Sound propagates at fairly high speed (at least 2.5 times the speed of the sound in the air on our planet) 2. There is somewhat weird "max speed barrier" for ships and projectiles. Limits are different for different ships (from 90 m/s to 270 m/s) even so they are all somewhat non-aerodynamic in shape. Limits are much much higher for the projectiles(2.2 Km/s for APAR). Issues: 1. Sound attenuation seem to deviate from inverse square law and has apparent "steep drop" at some arbitrary distance. This implies absorption by something (either by superfluid gas or by the "floating condensate" particles). Either way, such absorption has to be frequency - dependent. Are you planning to fix this? 2. The "speed limit" applied to the "center of mass" of the ship/projectile and ignores surface superfluid velocity. This makes no sense since center of mass is a "fist imagination derivative" (imaginary point, thought of in an imaginary world) and can't directly influence gas flows. In physics-based world you should calculate wingtip speed to set the speed limit. In a fast aileron roll spaceship has the highest boundary flow velocity at the wingtips. Are there any plans to fix this issue?
