So I just saw the recent Comm-Link for This Week in Star Citizen: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/comm-link/citizens/19296-This-Week-In-Star-Citizen ... and yes I understand that the image associated with it was a screenshot from a community member but it raised a bigger question..... As I understand the lore, the UEE is trying to distance itself from its pro-fascist Messer era. So why would people be encouraged to go to something like Invictus in a Second Tevarin War Uniform? I mean why do we even have them in the game to begin with? It runs counter to what the UEE is trying to be now right? It would be like having a recruitment for the German current military and having people show up in Nazi uniforms. Or having ad campaign for the US Space Force with people wearing Civil War era Confederate uniforms in it. To me internal consistency in sci-fi world building often is what separates good sci-fi from bad sci-fi so I am wondering about this inconsistency.
