Many of us who rely on Windows 11 AutoHDR to play Star Citizen in HDR probably don't realize that our time with that feature is limited. Since AutoHDR only works with Dx11 and Dx12, and Star Citizen is very soon swapping over to Vulkan, that means we'll very likely lose AutoHDR. That's a real shame because SC, with its pure RGB 0,0,0 blacks of space and super bright highlights from planets, explosions, and lasers, is a wonderful HDR showcase. Bar none one of the best applications for the tech in any game available (which goes to show how good AutoHDR is. Seriously if you have W11 and an HDR monitor, enable it). I'm hoping that very soon after Vulkan, we can expect to see native HDR support for SC. It's quickly becoming a standard of PC gaming (every AAA title released on PC in the last 3 years has a native HDR option), even if HDR itself is still somewhat early in the process of mainstream adoption. As far as I know, this is the last update on HDR support in Star Citizen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2tSoZJ0649s&t=1771s
