We know that SQ42 will feature multiple planetary locations. However, Our director of graphics, Ali @ABrown_CIG Seemed to indicate that the tech required for fixing Rocks, Trees, Foliage only appearing within a few hundred meters is more of a long term goal, That they hope they got around to implementing sometime in the future, But is not an immediate priority, Even though all indications show that SQ42 will suffer from the same issue. I know this is a beaten dead horse, But the low draw distance is by far the single most immersion-breaking graphical issue in the game, And i'm just perplexed on why it was never considered a priority for squadron42? It will be very disappointing, Not just to me, But to the gaming community seeing a western game like 'Red dead redemption 2' allows you to fly a flying saucer, With no draw distance issue (even though it wasn't designed for that), While our flagship space-opera, PC exclusive game with planets has a draw distance of 200 meters. Please, Is there anything on the schedule to help alleviate this issue before the release of SQ42?, Any glimmer of hope? Since it's a CPU limit issue at the moment, Will Gen12 multithreading help increase the draw distance (even though the proper solution is to transfer the spawning logic to the GPU)?
