Watching Star Citizen Live, it dawned on me when Rob stated that Cargo will have to be manually loaded on ships from the hangar. How are you going to manually load cargo onto ships like the Carrack, where the pods dont deploy or open? The Cat where the door elevators dont go to the ground yet? I understand that these issues will eventually be solved, but if physical loading of cargo is a thing prior to the pods of the Carrack and elevator doors of the Cat are implemented, it may kill them off as cargo haulers. Now, I know the Carrack is not meant as a cargo ship, but an explorer. Eventually pods will open. Eventually Cat doors will go to the ground. But that is farther down the road than persistent cargo. Manually hauling cargo one piece at a time onto these two ships without the pods and doors working correctly will be a huge pain. Especially the Carrack, where you have a small door entrance from the Garage to the Pods that will not fit a trolley.
