Many of us are hoping to see the Tevarin language, and I'm in that crowd. From a lore perspective, we know that the Tevarin completely relinquished their culture and ideals at the end of the second Tevarin War. It was only just mentioned during Alien Week that exploration is being done to reconstruct and recover the Tevarin language. This got me thinking, why not make this an in-game mission-based dynamic event, and as more missions are completed, the more about the Tevarin can be unlocked, not only in terms of their language, but also in terms of their culture, history, and technology? This would allow for several things: - It gives the Lore team more time to flesh out the Tevarin, so that other priorities (Xi'An, Banu, Vanduul) can take the focus in the short-term. - It gives a veritable treasure trove of potential missions for exploration, data running, salvage, cargo - you name it. One potential mission arc could even uncover a type of Tevarin ship that is delivered to Esperia for subsequent analysis and development for players to later purchase. - It incentivizes the players interested in something that plunges them deep into the lore for research purposes. In fact, as various missions are completed, those completions could be tied to unlock new entries in the Galactipedia, giving them clues about where to go next, or red herrings meant to mislead them into a dead end, or uncovering a vast lost find, requiring teamwork across many groups in order to complete. Whaddya think, @starchivist and @DHaddock_CIG?
