Greetings, fellow Citizens! I’m hoping to tap into the collective wisdom of this community for some guidance on configuring Star Citizen with a custom triple-monitor setup. I’m an iRacing enthusiast with a slightly unconventional rig: two 27" monitors (2560x1440) flanking a central 49" ultrawide (5120x1440). In iRacing, this works seamlessly without NVIDIA Surround, thanks to its native support for defining individual monitor sizes and positions in the renderer config. I’d love to replicate this immersive setup in Star Citizen, but I’m hitting a wall finding clear documentation or tutorials for mixed-size monitors without relying on Surround (which, as expected, doesn’t play nice with different resolutions). From what I’ve gathered, Star Citizen supports multi-monitor setups to some degree, often via NVIDIA Surround or AMD Eyefinity for uniform displays, but my mixed-size config seems to throw a wrench in that approach. I’ve poked around in the user.cfg file and seen mentions of custom resolutions (e.g., r_width and r_height), but I’m unsure how to adapt this for three distinct screens without distortion or alignment issues. Has anyone here successfully run Star Citizen on a similar hybrid setup? If so, I’d greatly appreciate a rundown of your process—whether it’s a config file tweak, a third-party tool, or some clever workaround. For context, my 49" sits in the center, with the 27" monitors on either side, angled for a wraparound effect. Total resolution would ideally span 10240x1440 if treated as one continuous display, but I’d settle for a solution that renders each monitor independently if that’s more feasible. I’m running an NVIDIA GPU (RTX 4080s), so any NVIDIA-specific tips would be a bonus. Worst case, I could revert to a single-monitor setup, but after experiencing the peripheral immersion in iRacing, I’m determined to make this work in the ‘verse! Thanks in advance for any insights or pointers. Fly safe!
