Because it is the easiest, simple way, I have always played SC with mouse and keyboard, later on with my TrackIR which I dont want to miss anymore. Then I have found the youtube video from dead parrot gaming with his 2x beamer ( his thread is somewhere here too ), so I have purchased an 4k beamer and that software to stretch the picture to my diy curved display, have a look: However, that picture rendering software had some hiccups sometimes and the screen wasnt that satisfying when you sit that close, you can see the tiny dots from the uneven mdf. So I started thinking how I could change it ( 3x screen went into my head, but I didnt want to purchase more monitors ) and well, I took my desktop monitor and mount it instead of the beamer screen. The thruster mountage is just a test, I want to do a proper installation. I also want a metal mousepad and a normal mouse on the right side. Cable management is on the plan off course ( I already ordered some stuff ). The hardware so far: - WinWing Orion 2 with F16 Joystick - WinWing Thruster - Saitek rudder pedal - maybe I will replace it with winWings some day - Belkin N52 te 1 hand keyboard - Ex-G Trackball for now, will def. get replaced, im not used to it - Tobii dev kit eye tracker ( got it for 70,- ) - Logitech webcam for stupid faces ( ingame :smile: ) - sharkoon skiller SGK5 keyboard, cheap and only mounted with straps for now - Next level racing V3 motion seat - havent tested it, but it should work - Beltenick racing seat ( did some VR racing in the past ) - Wingman AI software for voice commands - sharkoon? headset - buttkicker ( not mounted atm ) Computer: - AMD 5800 x3D - ATI 6900XT - 32 GB DDR4 3200 mhz 14.14.14.34 - MPG X570 gaming edge wifi - 34" AOC WQHD - 2x 27" Asus 144Hz on the desktop I will call this simrig my version 1.0 now and it will get the further mod´s I have mentioned above.
