I've been building this simpit over the last year. I've arrived here since getting the space game bug from elite dangerous years ago. From there I bolted sticks and throttle to my chair, and got peddles. Now here I am, and ice jumped into Star Citizen... Amazing. I am in love, and thankfully all of my work is just as applicable in SC. My build consists of dual Virpil constellation alphas, left and right sticks, each on mongoose gimbals using the cosmo-sim profiles (constant force, no center bump) and heavy springs. and a Virpil CM2 throttle. The meat of the "rig" is a chassis made of 40mm aluminum extrusions, a pre fab kit with all the mounting hardware from sim-labs. This is the px-1 kit. The chair is a driver's side subaru crosstrek seat, it's fully adjustable and has a vertical height adjustment. It's mounting on sliding rail/ locking mechanism to the chassis. The display is a 4k tv pannel @60hz, on medium settings @4k I'm seeing 30's frame rates wich is ok until the 30 series cards are more widely available. Anyhow, I really enjoyed making this and it's constantly evolving. Recently added is mounting for a center, more fighter like stick with extension, a 3d printed mount for my index headset that should help keep dust and light out of the interior, and a large fold down step to easily get in and out. There is a large, butt kicker mounted and a fairly complex audio setup (but I enjoy these things) https://photos.app.goo.gl/4rq7XGJ3aAt9NQJu5 I did a writeup on my audio setup here if interested in the details: https://oblivionfleet.com/forums/topic/jakans-advanced-audio-setup-tutorial-including-bass-shaker-butt-kicker/
