Original Post Thought I'd share my dual Warthog stick mount design and build pics. I did the design in Sketchup, it works great for little projects like this. The basic idea is that putting the sticks on the desk is too high, and I wanted to build a fixed dual mount that could be easily removed. The mount is a telescoping tube style using square tubing. The center section is wide enough to fit an iPad vertically, an iPad mini horizontally, or an MFD with a screen behind it, depending on what sort of support ends up in the game for those types of peripherals. Having a touchscreen that shows the radar ball would be pretty damn cool, I think. The sticks are rotated in 15 degrees and the ears are bent down 5 degrees. The angle feels really natural, I'm really happy with it so far. I plan to put the throttle on a table or some sort of support mounted to the left side of my chair, I've seen other people's designs for that and it looks like it'd work well. Total cost was perhaps 40 bucks for the steel, and about the same for the stuff I didn't want to try to do myself - the welding and bending the ears down, since I don't have the tools/skill for that. And yes, there are a lot of screws holding it to the desk. I think I went overboard a bit, but it's fun to drill holes with a press. Design Build Installed
