I can't do a full traditional sim pit since my wife and I game side by side. Awesome for hunting other players but not so much for a single seater pit. I'm drawing up a desk design so I can incorporate all the design elements I've been working but in the mean time I figured I'd share my current experiments to play Star Citizen. I have the software figured out and will be picking up one or two industrial touch screens in the next week or two and maybe an HMI PC. I'm seriously hoping for a solid API for spectrum where I can distribute the load across my computers and direct communications and intel across the org I'm part of during operations. Have fun out there. Running the Star Map in full screen to give it a nice but useful feel to the pc values. I plan in adding control buttons in the bottom spot to the bottom left. I do need to lower the right data since the system information is in the same spot as the right instruments. My touch controls for the HOTAS rig. I have a hub in it so I only have to run power and one USB cable. Also if I cut/run over those it's no big loss. This tablet also gives me mouse control when I need it with out having to reach for one. I also have my pc face down for better cooling. it's a free 15c difference in the video card temperature. That and I can easily access all of my ports making things look like a Drake ship.
