I've been looking at the possibility of getting a 2nd hand car seat and building a little desk simpit setup around it. After a while of looking though I'm not really finding anything decent for a good price and the whole thing will end up being expensive. To cut costs and get something that is a little more versatile I'm thinking of modding a gaming chair. Currently looking at something like this: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/nitro-concepts-c80-comfort-series-gaming-chair-black-orange-gc-010-nr.html Seems to have decent ability to mount some custom arm rests reasonably securely and would be possible to switch back for times when I won't be playing. It also means I can go for a desk setup that would suit working from home too, possibly height adjustable for standing. Anyone done anything similar?
