its one of the biggest issues in the controller war, how to compete with mouse aiming and still have a joystick for flying. one option is the throttle mounted trackball for your thumb. not as easy as a full mouse, but with practice one could learn to use it. for people that want to use dual joysticks, like myself, there is no trackball option on any current joysticks. if you want one, you must do it yourself. if you are going to try and mount something on a stick to control a cursor, you have to ask if a trackball is the best option. i wondered if there was a better way, so i searched google and found www.ergonomictouchpad.com/ . they have external USB touchpads either 2.5 x 2.0 inches for the standard ($35) or a 1.1 x 1.2 inch mini version ($60) . since they have no enclosure and are just a pad with a Velcro back, mounting should be easy.
