There are dual stick pilots who wish their left twisty grip was in a better orientation to match the transversal movement control or dual angle grips like in some Sci-Fi's. The community have made some killer mods and the manufactures took notice. Virpil recently shipped an official angle adapter kit. VKB teased one on the Gladiator line and we all asked when and why not for the Gunfighter. Their answer was both available now! Gladiators can be ordered as a bundle for $160usd or just an adapter for $30usd to upgrade an existing stick. There is also an upgrade adapter for the Gunfighter pro line for $40usd. Personally, I use twist on the left stick for strafe up/down but is not always comfortable if I am translating multiple axis. The angle grip is more like a motorbike, so twisting is more comfortable in any position. Moving over to this setup is easier too for new pilots because it closely matches the movements of the ship.
