Hello!. I will be frank I am not a flight sim enthusiest so I don't even know where to start looking for what I need to make/put to gether what I am about to describe. So please be patient with me as I may describe something odd/wrong .. To preface this I will explain that I have limited space. I rent a room that is roughly 12ftx12ft and everything I own has to be within that space so a lot of my furnature is dual purpose. such as a TV stand also being my computer desk sort of... I have a futon style bed that has a side by side 3 draw dresser underneath it. A low wide dresser being used as a work station etc. I have a closet but that is just for storage purposes not big enough to really do anything else with it. So here is the problem or challenge I am having. I am wanting to take a chair and put mounting solutions for dual joysticks, one on each side of the chair with a tray for a keyboard (mine is currently in my lap as I type this) and a mouse tray. I would love if this whole system could be adjusted on the fly. I saw a desk one by Virpil (spelling?) in a TheNoobifier video for just dual joysticks but again that was for a desk not a chair. nor did it look like it was... something that could be adjusted on the fly. Additionally if it could be quickly moved or perhaps have some sort of swing arm similar to wall mounted tv swing arms so i could put the whole rig/set up to the back of the chair so I could use my chair for other things like (working at my workstation/dresser).. Right now I am using just a cheap walmart chair and a TV dinner table for my mouse with my keyboard in my lap... It is manageable for the most part but not at all ideal for competitive gaming or wanting to take things more seriously. I have done some searching for gaming chairs and those things are way to elaborate for what I need and don't offer any form of dual function for the chair itself.
