I received a stream deck XL for Christmas and to learn how to use it, I assembled a Star Citizen 'flight computer' as it were... It's graphics light, though there are a couple graphic icons where absolutely necessary; It is intended to behave like a military MFD in both function and appearance. So far I've assembled something like 1250 individually-mapped and macro'ed keys - mostly because I've had to account for the various cross-function presses so that it 'feels' like an actual computer, instead of a series of connected profiles. It's important to me that it be as seamless as I can reasonably make it - given the inherent limitations of the stream deck. I've already built and tested most of the macros but I'm having a tough time with power management. My issue, and one of the reasons I'm reaching out to this group in particular, is that I'm not sure what works and what doesn't ... What's a version issue, or has been made obsolete, or replaced; as opposed to problems of my own making like syntax or entry error. Perhaps y'all can lend some insight. Even if you just want to recommend some interesting macros - I really am close but since every key has to be changed manually, there's still a bit of a push ahead of me. I think a week is probably a reasonable guesstimate to get everything entered and polished. Specific functions that remain problematic include: Cooling +/- Power (EM) +/- ENG (pwr) MAX WEP (pwr) MAX SYS (pwr) MAX Match Velocity Target nearest friendly (does it exist?) Release pinned target - I'm assuming it's like long press 4, but idk. That's all that immediately come to mind, but it's late. If I think of any more, I'll update this post. The image I've attached is the primary flight panel which is representative of the overall design - I've built in functionality for just about everything I could think of but it's not meant to be an all encompassing solution, rather to augment a multi-device setup. For the moment I use both a Warthog and an XBox Elite Series 2 for most of my interactions though I hope to ditch the Warthog by the end of February in favor of a HOSAS solution. Requires: A Stream Deck XL, BarRaider Super Macro plugin, and the keybind file I will be providing, though essentially it's default with a few exceptions. I know it's just another in a never-ending series of user created button box solutions but, while there are many like it, this one is mine. Please let me know what you think. Specifically, if you're aware of any undocumented keybinds or stable macro functions that could help make it better - I'd love to hear from you. Thanks! EDIT: 3.8.x has been something of a shitshow for me, and has made testing this many macros an altogether punishing experience. I've decided to wait until 3.8.2 and try again.
