Just looking at the possibility of getting a 2nd hand car seat to use for gaming and work but not sure quite how I'd want to mount it, just curious if anyone has done similar? I was looking at office and gaming chairs and easily drifting into the £120-200 range for something well built and comfy, I can get a good condition car seat for a fraction of the price. Currently looking at a VW Golf mk5-6 driver seat (I have an MK5 GTI and bloody love the seats) although open to others if something comes up. Most of them have the rails still attached so it would be easy to mount and would still move forwards and backwards etc although wonder if I'd miss the ability to wheel around? I'm possibly considering building a motorised sit/stand desk in the nearish future so want something I can move to the side when needed so nothing ridiculously heavy!
