Well, it's started. I've soldered wires to all my pots, sliders, encoders and buttons (and oh dear God, how much better is lead based solder than this modern lead-free shite, thought I'd lost the ability to solder for a while there!) Just need to get the faceplate laser cut and painted now and fix the various components. Here's the CAD drawing for the laser cutter! That's all the layers with dimensions and relative locations added. I'm hoping they can just use the 0 layer. That should contain everything they need. If not then it's going to give their operators a headache having to read all of that! :flushed: I've got a Leo Bodnar BU0836X 12-Bit Joystick Board. It seems to be happy with the components and makes my life a ton easier. Will have to buy some standoffs to mount it in the enclose I've got. I'll update this thread as I proceed.
