I've got one of these: And whilst the form factor is great and when it works it's great to pair with a mouse for on-foot, it's Bluetooth and the implementation of which is very flaky and the hardware is pretty much abandonware (thanks Paul Weatherstone, you useless, incompetent, shonky bastard!). So I've opened it up and removed the main PCB. Originally I was planning to pop a Leo Bodnar board in but even the low profile one is a really tight fit and getting the add-on matrix board in would be a pipe-dream. So what I am going to do is wire up all the controls to a cable (something like this: https://uk.farnell.com/pro-power/mc7220c-100m-ri-blk/cable-def-7-2-20c-20core-100m/dp/1190274?CMP=KNC-GUK-GEN-KWL&mckv=PpFlXUmR_dc|pcrid|186409721995|&gclid=CjwKCAiA9efgBRAYEiwAUT-jtB0hOlFjvAXaeY_2vlPnB76cYzY9mFd7kBkmoQqTRVDPb0ygxTTATxoCbOQQAvD_BwE) and then wire the other end into the BU0836X board I've just ordered, in a little enclosure. It then occurred to me that the Grifta has 11 buttons and 3 analogue axes and the Bodnar board can handle up to 32 buttons and 8 axes so why not use a larger enclosure and add the other 21 buttons and 5 axis controls onto that enclosure!? :bulb: So, after all that waffle, what enclosures do people recommend?
