Evening space dorks, so i finally got around to building something. I needed this contrivance to be somewhat portable, as every two weeks i go off shift and have to stow my crap. so what you can see basically two timber frame cubes with some ply on the top linked together by the part with the keyboard on. the right hand cube has a bigger work surface so as to give me space to move a mouse. I would love to go all out on some awesome cockpit, but time and common sense dictate otherwise. the HOTAS will sit flush with the ply when i get around to fitting it. four bolts and the thing comes apart to go in my car. the second pic is the projection onto a wall. ive got an Optoma GT 1080p Darbee projector. the thing is Siiiiiiiiiick. incidenally, this isnt the room im going to be setting up in. and yes, tidy isnt it. keen to hear any suggestions for improvements etc.
