I'm still searching for the best way to have it all. I used to have my keyboard on a swivel (you can see it on the left side). It worked because I had put my sticks at knees level, on a 45 degrees angle. But that's not ergonomic (I think it's because the scapula has a lot more horizontal mobility than vertical). I have received a keychron q11 which is a split keyboard. My intention is to have a larg steel plate on the right, for mouse and right keyboard. I think the final version will be moved a few centimeter closer to the middle so that my mouse has 1/3 of the surface to its left. But my initial testing showed that ideally the keyboard would be above my right knee, allowing for a wide free area for my mouse. It would be very close to how switching the right hand from mouse to the right of the keyboard works on a desktop. As is, either I use the mouse below the keyboard, which leave the mouse in the way when trying to use the keyboard, or I use the mouse on the right of the keyboard, which is too far away. Putting the keyboard above my right knee create other problems: annoying to get into the seat, and might bump into it while using the right pedal.
