Ive slowly been working on my pit for SC. (Volair Sim pit, dual VPC warbrds, TM pendular rudders, some button boxes etc).. and am trying to decide what to put behind my cougars. Ive seen guys using tablets, photo frames and the 8" monitors... One thing I want to be able to do, is run a static screen with button identifiers/icons on it, to label the buttons. easiest done with a photo frame. but can the lilliputs be set to output their own separate backgrounds to facilitate this? I like the idea of using monitors just in case CGI decides to allow the output of MFD data from the game, like DCS. if they dont, then its kind of a mute point other than using them that way for other flight sims, like, DCS. the sticky point is im not familiar with running multiple displays and am unsure if I can send independent static/background images to the 8" monitors to display the button identifiers/icons. if not, then I might be better off using photo frames instead. info? suggestions?
