I ended up switching from HOTAS to HOSAS not to long ago. My throttle does not fit comfortably in my setup, and I found I missed a few input types. I wanted something to control the power level for the speed limiter, mining laser power, and cruise control. I did not want those taking up binds on my stick which I feel are better reserved for combat binds. The Mini Stick Axis forced me to hold the input or it would center and change my power level to the 50%. The Hat input was not fast enough, and I found that I had to tap it, which did not feel precise. So, I started looking for something easily reachable in my Sim Pit, that can quickly change a 0 – 100 range.
