Hey folks! I'm in the process of building myself a Simchair. For actual FPS gameplay i will keep on using my usual desktop mice and keyboard (with a change of position). But for a quick walk across the ship, manipulating MFDs and chatting i'd like to have a small keyboard with touchpad or trackpoint, or maybe a even smaller keyboard and a trackball, attached to my chair, which leads to my actual question: Do you guys have some expierence to share which tech would be best? I really loved using the TrackPoint of my ThinkPad back then, but i have no clue if that would translate well to SC. Lenovo offers a small, external keyboard with trackpoint. Last time i used a Trackball is like 3 decades ago, but i can imagine it being an actual alternative to a mouse. Touchpad is probably the worst. What do you think?
