Got a new gadget.. a TM Cougar MFD set of two, which are nice but a bit static in regular use. So I improved them by using software and landed here.. For builders: https://github.com/SCToolsfactory/LiveMFD Mounted them on a piece of transparent acrylic glass and fitted it at the bottom of the secondary monitor which is in portrait mode left of the main moni. The software is just a window behind the MFD panels that capture the MFDs button inputs and uses some 'magic' to create vJoy and Keyboard commands and also runs macros on the press of an MFD button. There are essentially any number of panel configs possible, each with its own set of commands. Switching back and forth is mapped to the top right Switch of the MFD. One could animate the backdrop - only there is no game API available and therefore no reasonable data source to animate something. Config of one looks like below. That is the left 'In Flight' panel in the images above. It uses vJoy sliders to set speed and accel the macros used for the Top row Flight Setup - then buttons and keys for other actions. Now if anybody is interested to make use of it - let me know and I can make it available on GitHub. To really make use of it a bit of programming skills would be needed - or at least I would need to know what kind of basic tool is needed. BTW this setup is able to serve any game that looks for keyboard and/or DirectX Joystick input. So much for having to stay at home ...
