On both my PCs, 3.0 did get butchered with the framerate. I countered it on my high-end PC (or now mid-range) by lowering the resolution to 2560x1440 from 3840x2160, but on my low-end PC I can't even get close to 20FPS at 600x800. I don't expect to run it at "butterly smooth" 30FPS on this tincan, but at least higher than average 12FPS with constant dips to 2-3FPS. Specs: i5-3570 R9 280X Corsair XMS3 12GB I tried to use my old user.cfg that I used in 2.6 (removed some commands that I knew weren't needed or was disabled in 3.0) but that didn't help other than messing up the models lighting and textures. I've made sure the game runs at exclusive fullscreen with Windows' crappy "fullscreen optimization" disabled (go to the .exe and disable this for every game you have, you'll thank me later), drivers are UTD, no heavy background process (heaviest being the launcher, which I can't kill since it'll shut down the game), no overlays. All low settings, lowest FoV, tried various resolutions from 800x600 to 1920x1080, no difference. Rivatuner doesn't work well with 2017 Radeon drivers (Riva's fault, though at this point AMD should step in) so best live-hardware I get is from the game, which isn't saying much (using r_displayinfo 3). Any tips? Really don't like playing at jumpy 2-12FPS.
