During the PTU process 3.11 Live would launch just fine. However the PTU instantly crashed upon clicking launch. I was worried this would persist once the patch went Live and sure enough. I have tried removing the Bin64 directory, I have tried static IP w/ DMZ on my router, I have disabled that last remnants of windows defender and firewall on the system, I have tried removing tobieyetracking files thinking they caused the issue. Updated windows, updated radeon drivers, disconnected all peripherals. Thrown everything including the kitchen sink over the past week at this issue. As of today I can't play SC. There must be something in 3.12 that was added that was not in 3.11 that is causing a conflict. I even went as far as to take ownership of the ntdll.dll file to ensure anything I ran had access to it just in case the given permissions had an issue. Anyone have any idea's? I've exhausted pretty much everything I can think of shy of a full OS wipe and install along with removing SC and re-downloading. I had the game sort of working, where it would launch but if i exited I would have to reboot to get it to work again. This lead to a line of thinking that it was something in the %appdata%\local\temp folder. Tried to purge the files in there but that ended up breaking the only fix. Once I reset windows I reinstalled the launcher, which I had uninstalled and reinstalled prior to the reset and I noted that it installed the C++ Libraries and DirectX DLL's. This never happened when just uninstalling the launcher. I believe that uninstalling the Launcher, C++, and Direct X and then reinstalling the launcher might correct the issue. However I can not test this as the game is running fine for me. Resetting windows does make me believe it was a system file that was causing the issue. Perhaps another game or program had updated these libraries with something that 3.12 does not like.
