Hello all, I had a similar problem with installing a previous [but LIVE] version a couple months back when I changed ISPs. To be honest, I don't really know what caused it to work. I had to do a computer reset to factory defaults this past week due to constant hardware crashes (blue and red screens of death). I forgot that this would affect the settings I had for making Star Citizen work. Tried reinstalling 3.2.2 but had the installer issues again. I figured I would wait until the 3.3.0 PTU was released before I invested any time in it. Fast forward, and here I am trying to install the 3.3.0 PTU and not only did I try doing what I did last time to make it work, I've tried all sorts of alternatives and I am still getting the 'Install' button after the launcher evidently installs Star Citizen after downloading all the way through. Since then, when I click 'Install' it will install but very slowly and not without stopping at some point. Now I'm starting to even doubt that Star Citizen is even installing correctly, if at all. I have probably tried to install this at least 20 times since the PTU was released to the rest of us on Friday. Some things that I have done to try and fix the issue; Antivirus and firewalls have been adjusted to allow the RSI PTU launcher and Star Citizen PTU Permission has been given for ports with ISP router/modem Left the directory to default values, but tried installing on C:\ (internal HDD, which worked last time) and D:\ (external SSD, which never seems to work) All drives are NTFS format All necessary base files from Microsoft (.NET redistributables, etc.) are properly installed Verified that I did not need the Windows Media Pack Rebooted my computer numerous times Rebooted my network numerous times Redownloaded and reinstalled the RSI launcher numerous times Dumped out the AppData roaming file numerous times Fiddled with the in-launcher download settings (both speed limit and concurrent downloads) Running both RSI PTU Launcher and Star Citizen PTU as admin (changed via Properties dialogue box) Here is a copy of my log, it does have a few peculiar lines in there. I'm not the most tech savvy (despite the fact I like to think I am) so maybe someone can explain to me what these errors might indicate and make me feel a little less dumb?
