I upgraded my PC a year ago to keep up with the specs needed to play the latest games. I am now running an AMD Radeon 7800 XT with a Ryzen 7 5800x and 32gb of RAM and since 4.8 launched the game is almost unplayable for me. It overloads the RAM usage to the point it doesn't even let me use discord at the same time. 32gb of RAM is an exaggerated ammount of usage for a game taking into account that a couple of months ago it ran perfectly. I have tried to change it from Vulkan to DirectX11 (and back) and still I'm not able to make that work. 32gb of RAM is an exaggerated ammount of usage for a game. And I've got two questions. 1. Does any more people have this same issue? 2. Is this something that the devs are aware its happening?
