First time having a network error with the game. I'm not able to connect to any lobbies in any regions. There've been no changes to my network since the last patch so I'm really at a loss here. The support article for this error is pretty sparse and not super helpful but I've been through it several times looking for a clue. I confirmed the starcitizen.exe application is set to allow/all in Windows firewall but I went ahead and wrote some custom rules both inbound and outbound to make sure TCP 8000 - 8020 and UDP 64090-64110 were allowed through. I can see TCP 8000 is connected while the client is running, no problem there. I can also see UDP 64090 is enumerated via netstat, but I guess that's all you get with UDP. I also just tried disabling the Windows firewall completely with the same results. PID 2108 is the SC client application in this example, if that wasn't clear. I use a TP-Link Omada SMB router in my home office. It has port forwarding and I enabled it for this connection/port, although I've never needed to do that for any other game or application before, including Star Citizen prior to this patch. I'm able to check that the port is open using SpeedGuide.net's handy port scanner. https://www.speedguide.net/portscan.php?udp=1&port=64090 While the SC client is running the tool shows the port is "filtered?". When I close the SC client the scan shows the port is "closed". So it's definitely detecting something happening on my side. I just don't know where to take the troubleshooting from here. I have Spectrum cable internet service and my PC connects over wired Cat-5E to a gigabit port on my switch > router > modem (Spectrum Sercomm ES2251). I have WiFi in the house but no wireless interface on my gaming PC, so I can't really try that. I haven't contacted my ISP yet but I don't expect to get anywhere with them. They'll deny that they're doing anything, and I honestly don't believe it's on their end anyway. Out of curiosity I tried disabling DDoS and other "attack defense" settings on the router but that didn't affect anything. My MTU is set to Windows default 1500. I've also "verified files" from the SC launcher and completely uninstalled & reinstalled the game client. This error appears to be rare so I'm not expecting much, but any help is appreciated.
