This may help folks get in game - credit to @Vaden_Vexx : Some people did not understand some of what I was saying in other threads, so I'll post more details here to explain it more thoroughly. So, you pull up your account settings at the RSI website, and find the Character Repair Option. (Do not character repair yet.) Launch your game, and you will be able to tell if you are shard locked by having no selection in the region option. Like if it says 'Best', USA, AUS, Asia, EU, yours will be stuck on just being able to go to one region. It is important to know what you normally pick at this step, because you'll select a region you are certain your locked out character was not in later. So, now at menu, if you are locked to a region, launch the game. If you can pick different regions, pick one you are certain your character was not in during your lockout. If you can only pick one region, go ahead and launch the game into that region. Now hit the Tilde key ~ once the game is trying to load, and you'll see information popping up in the console window. Give it about a minute or two until you see no new info is coming up. Then Alt_Tab out to your RSI account settings webpage, and click the character repair. Once you do that, it should say something about you being kicked out of the server in the game. Now close the game, and logout of the launcher. Do not just close the launcher, logout of it. Then wait about 1 hour and 15 minutes, (Some say it works if you only wait 15 minutes, but I'm posting what worked for me) and log back into the launcher, and launch the game. Go to menu, and see if the region selection is open to all regions. If it is, then pick a region you are sure, or as close to sure as you can be, that your locked out character was not in, and login to a different region. (Example....if you were on USA during your lockout, set it to AUS or EU, then launch the game into that region. UPDATE: My Wife was shard locked, and this worked for her just now.
