I will preface this by saying that this will only work for sending down cargo. Bringing cargo up on a bricked elevator won't normally work. TL;DR - Exit bugged elevator after sending it up or down as quickly as possible. Go back in and wait for it to kick you out or moves the elevator. Cargo grid doesn't work after "fix". One of the current bugs for elevators stops them from being sent up or down and will kick you out after a brief period of time. A potential work around I have found, only works to send down cargo (This was tested on mining mission and hauling mission turn ins at hurston local outposts, HDMS and the like). Very simple steps to reproduce, may not work in all cases and make take a few tries to pull off. The cargo grid will also be broken. Send bugged elevator up or down. Exit quickly out of cargo terminal screen (Use Esc or other means). Go back in to the terminal and wait for it to kick you out. Interact again and elevator should be sent up or sent down.
