So I played yesterday and pretty much immediately gave up (after finally getting in and getting blackscreened) and decided I would try to play again today. But my Main Menu still says Im locked in a dead server... Yesterday, it took 4 tries, loading for over 15 mins each, for me to log on to a server and start playing, and then upon stepping into an elevator, I got the classic "Black Screen of Death" or what I like to call the "SC-BSOD". I waited for a few mins for the BSOD to clear but it never did, so I did the typical ALT+F4 and waited about 20 mins to try logging back on. Unfortunately, it still said I was locked in that server - so I gave up after attempting to play for over an hour and a half of getting nowhere and just decided to try again tomorrow. So here we go - its tomorrow. I boot up the game and... Im still locked in the same server, and it won't load. I just spent 25 mins with the loading screen up. The entities appeared to load for Orbituary Station, it sat at about 80,000 entities for most of that 25 mins, and nothing ever happened. So then, does anyone have a workaround for this issue? Character Repair? Contact CIG? After looking at the Concierge threads, there are 3 others that have posted about the same issue already. So I looked at Issue Council, there is only one similar report that is recent and it was for 4.0.1 and he didnt have much information, so I created an Issue Council myself. Holy crap, this patch is a complete dumpster fire. The game is basically unplayable at this point. Im starting to think that this project may be doomed after all...
