TO MY FELLOW CITIZENS WITH THIS ERROR: I have now had 3 members who have used this method to connect to the PU. Please follow the instructions carefully and please let us know if it worked or didn't for you. Also, please let us know if you found another work around. The post said as follows: I had issues with playing since I updated to 3.20, had no problems playing on 3.19 a couple hours before 3.20 dropped. I believe my 30009 is possibly related to Port Olisar being deleted as that is where I logged out by ALT F4-ing. Found out that a few other players experienced the exact same thing. I tried just about everything from deleting User and Shaders, Uninstalling and Reinstalling, and even a Character Repair but to no avail. Nothing worked. That is until just yesterday I came across some posts completely unrelated to Error 30009 and how their Errors where more or less "fixed". Before I tested my finding I tried logging back in normally and the 30009 still persisted when trying to load up the Main Menu, followed by the Infinite Loading screen. Make sure to close out of all open applications, and on the bottom right hand of your screen where you're either connected via WIFI or Ethernet Hardline right click on the icon and hit "Network and Internet Settings". Depending on how you're connected to the Internet select either WIFI or Ethernet (In my case I went into ethernet), about half way down the page there should be a "DNS Server Assignment" which should be set to Automatic. ou're going to want to hit the "Edit" button to the right of this and switch it from Automatic to Manual. Some new stuff should've dropped down that says IPv4 and/or IPv6. For me I set IPv4 to ON and Preferred DNS and Alternate DNS will pop up, I left IPv6 OFF. In the Preferred DNS text box I typed in 4.2.2.2 and in the Alternate DNS text box I typed in 4.2.2.4 then I hit Save and exited out of the settings. That is exactly all I did. I loaded up the RSI Launcher like normal, Started Game, and prayed that it worked. Low and behold, the moment the Loading screen that leads to the Main Menu only lasted for probably 2 seconds and I was able to go straight into Character Customization and set my Home to Area 18 and loaded into the PU no problem. I will also like to add that I did log back out and went back into my Internet settings and set my DNS Server Assignment back to Automatic to see if that completely fixed the 30009 issue but the moment I tried to log back on I received the 30009 right as it was trying to load me into the Main Menu and had the Infinite Loading screen. Closed back out and set it back to Manual and the game loaded up as if nothing was wrong. I cannot guarantee that this will work for everyone, but hopefully this helped you out!
