Hey guys! I just wanted to make a post about how to solve my problem. First off thanks to those on this forum who helped steer me towards the solution. If your game is crashing as soon as you try and enter the universe then hopefully this will help you. After hours of tweaking settings, updating and reinstalling drivers, sifting your crash logs, changing GPU setting and permissions....etc. It ended up being the simplest fix ever. Make sure your GeForce Instant Replay is "Off". To do this press Ctrl + Z, and the left most button labeled "Instant Replay" can be clicked for a drop down menu that allows you to turn it off. Not only has this allowed me to play without problems, but my FPS in the Hangar, (Which I could still access before), has gone from 2-3 to 30+....in other words drastic performance improvement. I hope this info helps save a few people hours of trail and error. See you in game!
