Hello or good evening to you all o7 I've been playing for three years on a computer equipped with a Gigabyte RTX 3080 10 GB, a Z7490 Plus motherboard, an i7-10700k and 16 GB of ram (3000 Mhz). The game is installed on SSD and yet : - Four to six minutes to get to the game menu - Five minutes minimum to connect to the game After these steps, I experience constant slowdowns right from the start of my connection. I freeze at every interaction, and can't take more than ten steps forward without having to wait in front of my frozen screen two or three times. It's just unplayable. Games like RDR 2 and CP 2077 installed on an HDD take much less time to load, but Star Citizen's performance on my equipment is just atrocious, and that's not normal. Worst of all, my computer reboots when I finish a quantum travel in third person (to take advantage of the arrival effect in front of a star) or when I activate the volumetric clouds. I know Star Citizen is an alpha, but this behavior on the part of my computer worries me. Could you please help me? I've done almost everything to optimize my computer -Park Control -Process Lasso -CPU priority settings to high in registery -GPU Schedule Acceleration and Game Mode enabled on Windows -10 GB shader cache in NVIDIA settings -Game Boost mode enabled in bios -Modification of my pagefile for more virtual ram Absolutely nothing helped, and it's the one and only game that gives me abysmal performance, whereas some of my friends manage to play with GTX without a hitch, bless their hearts. Thanks :slightly_smiling_face:
