Hey, wonder if anyone can help me troubleshoot this? I could previously run SC fine, but I've recently updated to 3.2.2 and I'm having problems. I can sign in and load the game from the launcher, and I can run both star marine and arena commander, but the open universe crashes on loading. When I select Universe, then Crusader from the space ports, the game starts loading (StarCitizen memory rises to ~5Gb) then it throws the following error: --------------------------- Star Citizen --------------------------- Failed to decompress file. Please use the "CIG Game Launcher -> Settings -> Analyze Game Files -> Verify" option to verify the content of the Data.p4k file. --------------------------- OK --------------------------- I used the suggested verify steps, but it doesn't make any changes to the game and I get the same error. So far, I've also tried: deleting the USER file, deleting and re-installing the data.p4k file from the installer, deleting Roaming data for rsilauncher, deleting the Bin64 folder then re-verifying before launching the game, creating a 12 GB pagesys file in case there was limited memory (I only have 12 GB RAM), deleting other files to free up an additional ~60 GB space on my SSD, deleting all of the above and re-installing the RSI launcher from scratch, trying all of the above whilst also running the launcher with administrator priviledges. I'm not sure if there are other files I possibly need to remove as well? I've seen a single case of this error mentioned on the forums previously, however where re-installing the game worked for that user it hasn't worked for me (making me think that I'm missing something somewhere): https://robertsspaceindustries.com/community/issue-council/star-citizen-alpha-3/STARC-58267-Game_crashed_when_accessing_Crusader__Failed_to_decompress_file_ Any help or insight would be very much appreciated! -- edit - highlighted that I only have 12 GB RAM on my system, rather than 12 GB space
