system specs: i7 4770k/32GB , SSD, 1070ti/8GB. win10, no av, nothing else running. I've been playing for a couple weeks, away for the weekend. Updated to 3.8.1, launched the game, went to Grim Hex, walked around exploring, bought some torso armor and a couple med pens. Used mobiGlass to equip the armor, and medpen, was spinning model around to see location of medpen when it crashed with the dialog 'unexpectedly quit'. Ok, no worries. restarted, gets to 'Loading" screen with the words "Main Menu" in the upper left... then crashes with the same error. Deleted the USER file, same thing happened. Reboot, try again, same error. completely uninstalled the game and re-installed, same error. Reboot again, same error. updated video drivers just in case, same thing happened. Reboot again, same error. Tried running as admin, or not, same thing happened. Checked to make sure that all overlays are off (nvidia, discord, steam, obs, etc.). Not running AV software, and not launching anything else. haven't yet examined the %appdata%\rsilauncher\log.log file, but I will do so when I get home from work today. Nothing was really changed on my pc until after I had the error, then small incremental changes were made for troubleshooting purposes, but this one's got me stumped so far. I collected some information and added it to a 'can replicate' on a ticket when I was searching to see if there were any solutions... Any other recommendations? Thanks!
