Hello, I've owned SC for about a year now. I know it's a pre-alpha, that being said It's had its up's and down's, but recently I've just been so disappointed with what they have implemented in this new update. I have pledged a lot of my hard-earned money into this game because I want to see it succeed, and develop into something great within the coming years. Ever since the latest update, I haven't been able to play at all. Data sync from account seems to be deteriorated when trying to load in. Here are the "workarounds" they suggest which, by the way, do not work. - Making sure you close the launcher via task manager and try again in an hour - Make sure you are on the latest version of the launcher and that it is set to the LIVE version of the game if you are attempting to join the LIVE environment. - Reset windows host files - Double check that your Internet connection is functioning properly and there are no programs interfering with the game - (Last resort) Character reset. I have done all of these, even turning off my AV's to ensure nothing is interfering with SC's data sync. I've had two character resets and still didn't manage to play even once. Furthermore, I also deleted the entire game and re-installed it on an SSD rather than my hard drive it was previously on, which, of course, did not solve anything. It's truly sad that I'm most likely going to have to wait a month, maybe even more, for another patch that will fix this problem... perhaps. I've already made a ticket, and after waiting 5 days for a response, I doubt they will ever get back to me due to them being so busy with the not so important bugs and optimizations. I'm not trying to complain too much on this thread, I think CIG did a good job overall. All I want is some background information on what they are doing to fix this game breaking bug because it doesn't seem like they are acknowledging how serious this is. To anyone out there who keeps getting this error, save your time by not even trying to fix it or using the workarounds they suggest because it will get you nowhere, and you will lose hours of your time and effort just trying to play. Just make a ticket and pray they actually do something about it, instead of giving useless workarounds that ultimately do nothing.
