After watching a Linus Tech Tip on youtube about speeding up your internet, I skeptically gave it a try. I am not sure if it made my "Internet" faster, but it definitely improved something in Star Citizen. All it involved it setting the DNS server to 1.1.1.1 and alt to 1.0.0.1. This is a Cloudflare.com service that is free to individuals, but is pay service to business. They do have instructions on their web page to help you change your DNS. It is hard to tell if it improved my FPS in SC as it varies a lot. After using this DNS, I got a solid 32 to 34 fps, but I have gotten that much and more before, although typically less than that. What is a definite improvement is a reduction in the hesitations and pauses I would get every 10 to 20 seconds or so. I tried the PTU both before and after and the pauses are about 90+% gone. I am happy as it did not cost anything, nothing to sign up for, just the time it took to change my DNS setting in Windows. It is not magic, but it may help. I was using Google DNS before. I hope this is helpful to some. MOD EDIT - Fixed misspelled weblink
