Game crashes on launch after latest Windows 11 update – Error Code 3221225477 Hi everyone, I’ve been dealing with a persistent crash issue for the past few days and I’m hoping someone can help or confirm they’re experiencing the same. Whenever I try to launch Star Citizen, I get the following error message: Star Citizen has stopped running unexpectedly Game error code: 3221225477 Crash Digest: d90b915640245edb6c0e0a60fc6256f1 This started happening immediately after the latest Windows 11 security update (early November 2025). I’ve already tried the following: Verified game files via the launcher Reinstalled Star Citizen completely Reinstalled Windows 11 from scratch (clean install) Updated all drivers (GPU, chipset, etc.) Disabled Control Flow Guard and Memory Integrity Added Star Citizen as an exception in antivirus and firewall Tried launching as administrator Despite all this, the game still crashes instantly on launch. I’m running a clean system now, and I can’t imagine I’m the only one affected — surely other players with Windows 11 and the latest updates are seeing this too? Would appreciate any help, confirmation, or official response. I’ve submitted a support ticket with the crash digest, but no reply yet. Thanks in advance!
