Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700K CPU @ 3.80GHz 3.70 GHz 32,0 GB 2400Mhz Nvidia GTX 3080 Monitor resolution is 5120x1440p. If I reduce the resolution to half to 2560x1440p, or to 1920x1440p, I don't really notice a massive increase in FPS, similarly going from maxing graphics settings to turning everything to low or off doesn't improve it all that much either? I'm guessing I'm CPU bottlenecked? Ram speed is 2400MHz because I bought a prebuilt HP PC which apparently uses a proprietary motherboard, and I didn't know you couldn't just add 2x 8 gb sticks ram to it. Would getting the right RAM to go up to 3200MHz be a noticeable improvement? Or should I look at a different motherboard and CPU? Other games run fine which is why I'm hesitant about upgrading, unless I'm really hurting myself with the current ram speed. Hope someone can help and give some advice:) Update: I reinstalled windows to have a clean PC, SSD now has the "You shouldn't fill an SSD more than 70% full" requirement Set pagefile to "32768 initial and 32768 max" on the SSD Used HP intelligent overclock to push a little more out of my CPU, I had done so prior too, it went from 47x Core Multiplier and 43x Cache Ratio to 52x Core Multiplier and 45x Cache ratio. I don't know what it means but the internal benchmark value went up quite a bit so hoping its good lol Clean install of SC Set setting to very high, rest to medium, v-sync off, minimum FOV (not sure if that matters) Definitely feels A LOT smoother, I think my lows and highs are quite a bit higher now, and far less fps drops and stutters. Hitting 70's and 80's in low pop areas like space and bunkers again. So very happy with the sc feeling like a totally different game again! Thank you so much! :slightly_smiling_face:
