So, I've pledged just over 5k on ships in a game I can no longer log into. This 30018 error only affects the specific account. I can log in with my kids account and friends account on my computer just not mine. I even tried logging in from another computer without success. The current character repair tool fixes nothing and from what I have seen some backers have been having this issue for months. It looks like there is no fix coming anytime soon. It is 100% on their end and seems to be a big problem since 3.18. Something needs to be done to address the issue right away. Reading over the terms of service for pledges it basically says I am pledging money for in game items. Since I am not able to use those items, in theory, CIG/RSI is violating their own terms by not allowing me to access those items. I have asked for a transfer of my items to another account and they refused so obviously they are not allowing me to play using the pledge items. I would like some kind of answer from them but they have nothing except we are working hard to fix the problem or the canned responses they give (copy and paste from the website). There have been no updates that I have seen and I check daily. There sure seems to be grounds for a class action lawsuit because thousands of backers are having the same issue. Granted, I don't feel that's the way to go right now but if this keeps up there might be no other way. Please, just do something fix the problem soon. It's been since the start of 3.18 and 4 months seems like an unacceptable amount of time to fix especially when you know it's account based. Yes, I'm annoyed and venting my frustration as nicely as possible.
