I logged in to my Constellation where I had previously logged out in my bed well over 100km from any points of interest, I was last doing a bounty hunting mission and the end of my play session I was just kinda flying out for a while reading stuff on my other monitor before i decided to stop and log out. Well, anyways i logged back in, as i just detailed above, and as i get out of bed i notice there are shots coming into the ship, so i run to the pilot seat only to find ive been disabled by distortion fire, coming from a PLAYER!! Of course i am destroyed, bc i am not able to power up. Well anyways I respawn and check the player bounties and sure enough there he is with a 30000 uec bounty. So i pick up his bounty and head over in my avenger titan, well once i get there, i see him outside the station and instantly go for him, we have a couple of jousting passes where he doesnt hit me, then he lands one hit (shields are still up at 100%) and im completely disabled, then as a sittting duck promptly blown up. it is at this point that i log off and i am done for tonight. tl:dr: hacker, teleported to my log in location, and is using some kind of hacked distortion weapon to kill players. edit: i have his name but was advised by a commenter to remove it.
