Like the title says, after troubleshooting for hours I still cannot fix my launcher error. The issue persists even after completing the reg hack successfully and restarting my pc... Does anyone know of a solution? I still cant get it to work after trying all of these below (FYI) It appears you are running into an installation error that we have been dealing with for a while now. We are currently investigating this problem and collecting as much data as we can from players who experience this issue. Please send us the following file using the following instructions. These files help us figure out what may be happening on your system in relation to the Launcher or game so that we can provide this information to our development team. DXDiag The DXDiag provides a deeply detailed report for your computer. This generated file gives a view into what your system has installed including hardware, OS, drivers, and peripherals. Press Windows⊞ + R to open the Run window. Type "dxdiag" into the run prompt and click OK. Click No if dxdiag asks to check for digitally signed drivers. Wait for the bar to fill in the bottom left. Click Save all information and save the file to an easily accessible place like your desktop. Attach the file to the ticket. Please don't edit this file. Every bit of information helps! As part of our investigation into this issue, we have gathered a number of workarounds that other players have had success with. Please do let me know if any of the below workarounds helped your issue: - Running the launcher as Administrator. - Some backers have found success in installing the game on an alternate drive, including a different model of SSD, HDD and/or external hard drives. The game can usually be moved afterwards without issue. - Strange as it sounds, minimizing the window while it’s patching has prevented the launcher crashing for some backers. - Turning off Intel SpeedStep/AMD Cool’n’Quiet in your BIOS may help resolve this issue. I would only recommend attempting this if you feel confident that you know what you are doing, as messing up your BIOS could cause more serious issues. - Repeatedly re-opening the Launcher while trying all the different settings of using download size and speeds. Some backers have reported being able to install and launch the game after extensively attempting to download the game over a longer period. - Attempt to download the game using a VPN. - Some players have reported fixing this issue by changing their router if you have another one available. - Reinstalling Windows has helped this issue for some people, especially those who have upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11. If you are still having issues, try rolling back to Windows 10 as we do not officially support Windows 11 yet. If none of the above workarounds worked out for you, then for now I can only suggest that you hang tight as we find the underlying cause of this issue.
