I got a slow net connection. So it takes me ages to get an upgrade downloaded. (perhaps you should look at a patcher that just uploads the new stuff rather than the entire 30gig) . Anyway; I had no trouble with any other download to date. But with this last one, it got stuck right at the end. I read some stuff on the net from previous patch problems in regards to verifying files. So I did this. Firstly, hitting verifying while updating causes the patcher to stop responding. Hitting verify if you hit the pause button does the same once you unpause. So you got to relaunch the patcher and hit verify before you hit the upgrade button. The verify process runs through to the end of the patch and then reports a bytes left amount. This changes each time you run it. Once you hit the update button after the verify, it just sits there as before with no activity in the DL figure and estimated time stuck at the "-----" level. I really dont want to delete the whole thing and download the program yet again as it will take WEEKS. Is there a quick solution here? And if not, what are the chances of getting a disc delivered to me in Australia so I can once again play this game quickly. I'm probably pushing it asking for this, but this is SO annoying. Our internet speed is so slow in Australia that once I had finished downloading the last update from Feb, I had like 3 or 4 weeks before I had to start downloading the lastest patch and again taking weeks to get it all down as I cant leave the download running all the time as it interfers with the other wifi devices that dont get any connection. Especially the streaming devices my dad uses a lot. Please look at working on a patcher that just patches the changes rather than everything and if you can send me a disc, I would be grateful. As long as it arrives before the next patch :blush:
