Usually I can figure this stuff out for myself, but not this time. Hoping for some community love here. No helpful information in the issue counsel that I seee yet either. Upon uninstalling old launcher and reinstalling the new 1.5.5, the launcher fires up it has an audio glitch that keeps chirping. I am unable to disable the sound,, and although I can enter my username and password, it leads to infinite "connecting". Nothing seems to be connecting and the launcher seems to be failing right from initiating it. any idea's? I did have the launcher in my C:\ drive although my game was in another drive.
